LOST IN PACIFIC TIME, THE ACADEMY IS…
Yo, so I just illegally downloaded Lost in Pacific Time, TAI’s new EP.
When I listen to new albums, I really try to go into it with an open mind, even though I tend to fail, but I did succeed with this one.
I can honestly say, I enjoyed “I’m yours tonight” the most, I find it to be really adorable. Is so catchy xD and not in a ‘About a Girl’ way, there’s just as much content in the chorus as there is in a verse. No, I lied. It is like about a girl, but not really. I mean, the way the songs written with the hook and such is like about a girl, but its lyrically, a step up. I DON’T KNOW. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM ME?!
“Days Like Masquerade”, ehh, I don’t really care for it much, I like the bass line. Its like Seed, it wasn’t bad, but it was just kind of these.
I dislike “Sputter”, it bothers me.
“New York (Saint In the City”, the intro catches my attention, because TAI songs don’t tend to start off with guitar riffs. “Lost in pacific time” IS A LITTLE TOO REMINSICENT TO “LOST IN STEREO” FOR ME. Nothing personal. This song could of totally came after “The Test” on FT@BH. It isn’t all that special. I mean, again, its good, but its just another eh song.
“In the Rearview”, I like it when I listen to it, but Its not anything special.
OKAY, WELL THATS ALL I GOT.
I give it a 3.5/5 souley because non of the songs on the album are terrible, I mean, I really dislike Sputter, I’m not going to go on a rampage about it, but non of the songs are all that memorable for me.
